Some line, a hook, some squid…… that’s where it all began.
Some line I found on the rocks, a hook my Dad gave me to shut me up (all my noise was scaring the fish, let’s ignore that we were fishing next to a highway overpass bridge) and some squid from the bait bag. That’s all it took to start this kid on this fishing journey.
Hi, I’m Marco and i just love fishing. It all started on a family holiday, Dad pulled the car over for lunch and to throw a line in and young Marco annoyed him enough to have a go. Who would have though that on the 1 meter of line I found I’d catch the biggest (and only) fish of the day. More luck than anything, but from then on I was all in on fishing.
Since those humble beginnings I’ve explored all different types of fishing, from spinning to surf to deep sea to fly. I’m also a gear head and just love looking at all the new gear and gadgets on offer, which is why I wanted to make this site profishingreviews.com.
